The AMRC is a resource centre based at the School of Geoscience, University of Sydney, which promotes research, discussion and debate on development and environment issues in the Mekong Region. The Centre, which was established in 1997, focuses on the role Australia plays in the region as a near neighbour, donor and major trading partner.

The Centre is a focal point for information, dialogue and activities in support of an equitable and sustainable development path for the Region.

 

The AMRC Library collects resources covering mainland Southeast Asian environment and development issues. The library is made up of contemporary materials such as newsletters, governmental and non-governmental material, journals, reports, newspapers and magazines.

Location: Room 464, Madsen Building (FO9), Sydney University.

Opening Times: The library is generally open during these hours: 9.30am-1pm; 2pm-4pm (Mon-Wed; Fri). However it is better to call first - (02) 9351 7796 - if you are coming from outside the university as the hours may vary from time to time.
